Criston Precision allows enterprises to automatically deliver critical patches and fixes to thousands of client systems. Criston Precision automates the management and deployment of security and functional patches across the enterprises, reducing patch support costs by eliminating manual patch tracking and deployment.

Criston Precision comprises a Security Patch Manager. The Precision agents, installed on clients and servers, automatically inform their server of required patches (OS and applications) by comparing the device configuration with a baseline defined in the standard database. To define this baseline, full information on patches (including descr iption, date, severity and OS language) is available from the Criston Precision console.

"Vulnerable" devices dynamically become members of a group with their severity or vulnerability level. Criston Precision automatically creates the distribution packages. Depending on the urgency the Precision administrator may directly launch the update procedure which is executed via the software distribution module or delay and schedule it for another moment in time.
